The meeting to discuss the budget for North Perth next year took place last night.
Citizens were invited to give their thoughts on how money should be properly used next year with the use a survey that was available throughout September and was the main talking point for the meeting.
78 completed the survey. Some of the biggest concerns that residents believe need immediate addressing include roads, street lights and sidewalks. Residents also believe better programs need to be offered and housing and accommodations need an adjustment.
More affordable housing, additional sidewalks, widening Perth Line 86, a new indoor and outdoor pool as well as using resources to tackle homelessness and mental health support are among the highest of the list to next years budget as provided by those who completed the survey.
