You might be able to get your hands on all kinds of local beers and wine at your local farmers market this year.
Farmers markets this year across Ontario will allow the sale of beer and wine. The Ontario government has made the change allowing the sale of 100% made Ontario wine and beer for the season to address and help the struggling sector.
The decision came as a part of the Ontario budget. While its been acknowledged there are still some issues which need to be sorted out in each region, the sale will help businesses and brewers in the area who have struggled to make any level of sales throughout the pandemic.
