The Housing and Homelessness Plan was originally released in 2014, but the plan had been updated in 2019 to make sure it continues to reflect local needs and to ensure it still aligns with the work being done at both the provincial and federal levels.
The 2021 plan outlines what communities have done and what more needs to be done to ensure that everyone has a safe and affordable home.
According to the report, the average housing resale price for Huron-Perth increased by 41%.
Other details the report includes are the number of households experiencing homelessness, the cost of housing since 2019, vacancies, and their 2021 accomplishments, among many more topics.
