Volunteers with the Stratford General Hospital have rallied support towards purchasing four cardio-respiratory ventilators.
Over seven months, the volunteers were able to raise more than $202,000 for the life saving machines which support or replace natural breathing for patients who can’t breathe on their one.
Each ventilator costs more than $50,000.
Mark Gibson, Corporate Lead for Volunteers-Student Engagement says each day, the volunteers dedicated time to supporting patients and staff and this donation exemplifies their dedication to them and the community.
