A proposed 20 unit apartment building in Palmerston has gotten the zoning approval needed to get the project going.
Council gave the zoning approval recently despite some push-back from neighbours in the area of 255 Norman Street who shared their concerns about the size of the building who also shared their worries the building and its residents would encroach on the rail trail nearby.
One concerned resident who owns a cabinetry shop near the property wrote to council saying his concerns were apartment residents might end up using his garbage bins but council was assured a private company would be hired to collect the waste.
An appropriate amount of parking spaces was also shared to shutdown concerns from residents in regards to parking.
