18 Year Old License Suspended and Vehicle Impounded

 

Just before 8am on Wednesday July 13th, a Huron County OPP Officer was conducting RADAR enforcement on Dashwood Road near Airport Line. 

The Officer noticed what they described to be a compact vehicle, that was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. 

 

A RADAR device was utilized and measured the vehicle’s speed to a high of 127km/h in a posted 70km/h zone. 

A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was subsequently charged. 

 

An 18-year old from Georgetown has been charged with Stunt Driving and Excessive speed. 

His motor vehicle has been impounded for 14 days and his license has been suspended for 30 days.
