Centre Wellington Highschool and JD Hogarth were under a hold and secure on Monday for police investigation.
The Upper Grand District School Board says the hold and secure was put into place at around 1pm citing a situation outside the school.
OPP responded to reported threats on Scotland Street in Fergus where it was reported a student had been threatened by another student during a dispute.
An 18 year old has been arrested in this incident. Investigation remains ongoing.
