14th Community of Character Run in Listowel

This year will mark the 14th annual Community of Character Run in Listowel.

Taking place at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex on May 29th, the run is all about promoting health and fitness and growing awareness around the character movement.

In Listowel, the run acts as a major fundraiser to operate and run programs for schools, community groups and workplaces which continues to grow every year.

Meaghan Graham, North Perth Community of Character Coordinator says it they have various stages of runs and walks so everyone can get involved.

“You don’t have to be a serious runner to join. We offer a 1k and 3k walk and run, a 5k and 10k route. If running is something you want to try or get out and do with your friends, this is a really non intimidating, inclusive environment to do it in.” said Graham.

With the help of LTI and Spinrite, 100 free youth registrations were offered and taken in just two weeks with Graham adding she looks forward to seeing a strong youth turnout for the run.
