$13,000 worth of drugs is off the streets after a seizure by Stratford Police.
Last year, police partnered with the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario with the launch of Project Sapphire leading the seizure of $266,000 in illegal drugs, $91,000 in cash and seven people being charged.
As part of continuation of the project, Stratford Police on March 24th arrested a 33 year old man of Kitchener with a search warrant executed resulting in the seizure of 134.3 grams of cocaine, 5 oxycodone pills and $7350 in cash.
The drugs seized hold a street value of over $13,000. A 24 year old woman was also charged in the investigation.
