The province is dishing out nearly $2 million for upgrades at the Hanover and District Hospital.
The funding to the tune of $1,959,643 will help the Hanover Hospital to be a safer, more comfortable space for people and their families to connect to care closer to home.
The funding is coming off a $266 million through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund for healthcare systems to address urgent infrastructure needs including upgrading or replacing roofs, windows, security systems, fire alarms and emergency generators.
Since 2024, the province has increased funding through the fund by 10 per cent every year.
